Another innovative product is our bike-safe track, which was specially developed in cooperation with the company Sealable to increase the safety of cyclists and pedestrians. Accidents often occur at railway and cycle junctions when bicycles or pedestrians get caught in the ruts in the tracks. Our solution consists of a special rubber profile that fills the track groove and prevents bicycle tyres from becoming trapped.
Thanks to its special surface properties, the profile minimises the risk of slipping in wet conditions and enables pedestrians to cross the rails without barriers. When crossing a railway, the profile is pressed in due to its weight, but then returns to its original shape due to its elastic properties and fills the track groove again.
